Blessed Carlo Acutis relic visiting St George's Cathedral

Blessed Carlo Eucharistic Miracles exhibition visiting St George's Cathedral

The relic of Blessed, and soon to be Saint, Carlo Acutis is visiting St George's Cathedral from Thursday 26 June to Sunday 29 June 2025.

On Thursday 26 June in the evening, the St George's Cathedral Young Adult Group is holding an adoration service, at which the Guardian of the Relic will deliver a talk. At the evening, people will be able to participate in Eucharistic adoration, a spiritual prayer close to the heart of Acutis.

On the evening of Friday 27 June, Archbishop John Wilson will preside at the 6pm Solemn Mass of the Sacred Heart, which will include an opportunity to venerate the relic.

On Saturday 28 June, there will be a "morning with Carlo Acutis" at St George's Cathedral. This will include:

  • 9.30am - Mass in the presence of the relic
  • 10am - Adoration with Confessions, again with the relic on display, to conclude at 11am
  • 11.30am - Talk by Anna Johnstone on Carlo Acutis and introduction to the Eucharistic Miracles Exhibition panels which will be on display in the Lady Chapel
  • 12pm - Rosary
  • 12.30pm - Visit the Eucharistic panels in the Lady Chapel
  • 1pm - morning concludes
The exhibition on the Eucharistic Miracles will be on display from 19 June to 7 July. This poster, prepared by the Guardian of the relic, contains further information on the relic and the Eucharistic miracles.
